Under the Sea Palz Tag

This is my example for the Piercing Tutorial I posted on my blog. I’m still using an Expression so I have to do it by hand.

I
used the Rhinestone Feature in MTC to create a Piercing Template for my
tag. I also used the Basic Shapes Tag in MTC for my project. You can
find my tutorial and more info Here

I used Scrappy Dew’s,  Under the Sea Palz

I applied some Glossy Accents for the bubbles and chalked some of the edges.

With summer fast approaching, I thought this would be a nice project to have on hand. My sister lives near the bay and I’m sure I will be using it for her or the kids.

Thanks for looking!

Graduation Card

Our challenge this week on the MTC Forum is for a Graduation Card. The card file is provided by Becki, I used ScrappyDew Grad Palz Set.

My niece will be going into Middle School next year and they are having a ceremony for the kids in 2 weeks. I created this card for her. These are her school colors.

The top of the card folds down and tuns into a cap.

I thought I had ribbon to match my paper, of course I could not find it. So, I took the tassel from the grad file and re-sized it larger to attach to the cap.

For the back of my card, I used the certificate that is included with the grad file. I added a shadow layer in MTC, some text and printed it out.

Thanks for looking

Young Aviators Birthday Card

Hello everyone, I’d like to share a Birthday Card with you today.

I need a birthday card for my nephew for the month of June. When I seen this Young Aviator Set by ScrappyDew, I thought it would be perfect. I decided to create a window card. I still think it needs a little something for the front. Just don’t know what yet. LOL

The card is going to be mailed so I could not do much 3D things. I printed a lot of the graphics because of this. I would have liked to use a brad with the propeller to make it spin.

I used a Cuttlebug Embossing folder called “Tiny Mosaic Texture” for the red frame. I don’t have a brick one. The clouds I used the “D’vine Swirl” folder.

For the inside, I created a shadow layer for the front facing plane and clouds. The red mat is by Penny Duncan. I also took one of the clouds and put a sentiment on it. I used the same font as the Title, Kristen ITC.

This is a close up of the boy on the inside of the card. I forgot to take a photo of that part of the card. I used red and silver Stickles on the glasses and the scarf.

This is the back of my card. I once again used one of the clouds for my signature, I also used the same font to tie it all together.

Thanks for looking! If you would like the Window Card File, you can download it Here MTC format only for right now.
