There are a few times a year when I get nervous about creating a card. Both my daughters birthdays, Christmas and my dear friend Elaine’s birthday card. I have known Elaine since senior year of high school. She is a very classy lady and a dear friend who is willing to go the extra mile to make something happen. I think the world of her and I try to make each birthday card extremely special. This year is no exception!
So I asked her for a couple of quaint eateries she enjoys. I picked one and found a pic to use as the background on the card. I then used bits and pieces from a bunch of ScrappyDew les http://www.scrappydew.com/
Here are the lyrics (and it’s a bunch!)

(told ya it was a lot of bits and pieces) So here is the card:
Elaine sends photo Christmas cards each year. So I did have some help with the colors for Andrew, I came pretty close. See the purse, I cut it out and embossed it with my embossing machine. Cut a small length of ribbon for the leash and a rain drop for the handle. The entire card was made using scraps (really do need to make some new scraps). The envelope is from Graphic 45 paper.
I sure hope she likes it. I put a lot of love into this one. For next week, I have 2 more birthday cards to share with you. But for now, have a wonderful week!
Bright blessings, Jana
